Jeremy helped my daughter rehab her knee after a basketball injury. He is a thorough professional who takes the time to address muscular imbalances before assigning exercises to strengthen the problem areas. He was very willing to work with our crazy schedule and is very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Jeremy also took the time to explain the 'why' of what he was doing which helped my daughter to be more committed to performing prescribed exercises at home. I highly recommend Jeremy if you are looking for a physical therapist who can really help you!

The exercises Jeremy gave me eliminated the pain/discomfort in my back rather quickly. He also gave me exercises to strengthen the muscles to prevent the same problem down the road. Jeremy is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to listen and explain how the exercises will help. He spends the whole time working one on one with you. By far the best physical therapist I've been to!There are two parking lots for his office which is a plus in South Miami.

Jeremy is by far, the best physical therapist I've ever worked with. I've had pain in my hip and lower back for years, and none of the PTs or doctors I visited were able to improve my condition. PTs would give me very generalized exercises that I would do faithfully for weeks, but they would have no impact. I would give them feedback, but they rarely changed their approach.By the time I started therapy with Jeremy, I couldn't walk without pain; driving and other simple daily activities were a trial; and I was beginning to think that I might have to live in this condition indefinitely. But my experience at Advanced Physical Therapy Specialists was completely different. From my very first appointment, it was apparent that Jeremy's many years of experience, and his commitment to keeping up with the latest in the PT field have really payed off. He went over my symptoms methodically and had me move in different ways so he could narrow down his treatment plan. He then assigned me three simple exercises very different from any I'd tried before in that they worked one or two muscle groups very specifically and focused on doing the exercise properly 3-4 times, rather than sloppily 10-12 times. They took about 15 minutes to do all on a daily basis.Every session he would reassess. If an exercise wasn't working for me, he would ask me a few diagnostic questions, and then assign me something different. I would get new short, simple exercises almost every week as I advanced; I never felt like my progress stagnated. He also spent at least half the session on trigger point massage, dry needling, and other manual Physical Therapy techniques that calmed my inflamed hip and back muscles, preventing them from seizing up and stymieing my progress.To my great surprise and relief, I starting seeing improvement within just a few sessions. Thanks to Jeremy I am able to take part in normal activities again without pain. Huge portions of my life that I'd had to put aside because of pain have suddenly opened up again. I recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone who needs physical therapy, whether you've had many years of debilitating chronic pain, or need help recovering from a recent injury, Jeremy will be able to help.

Jeremy is the best. He treats the whole person and genuinely cares about his clients. He helped correct my hip and shoulder issues so I could return to volleyball and snowboarding. I even took up boxing. Jeremy could easily rest on his experience, but instead he keeps learning and improving his craft. A rare find.

What Jeremy does is far beyond just "PT". Equipped with PRI (and some manual) techniques, he can get to the root of positional problems immediately. And as I experienced, that usually means immediate changes. Each week I've watched, thoroughly impressed, as he tests/retests, then provides progressive or regressive exercises to match progress. No laundry list of cookie-cutter exercises with a hope that it might do "something" (what my prior experience was with other PTs). No need to lay on foam rollers or stick lacrosse balls in weird places just to feel right (what I used to think was "good warmup"). Whereas a lot of typical PT is a jackhammer, this PRI stuff is a scalpel: precise and thorough and - in the right hands - capable of helping people of all backgrounds and levels of activity feel and move better...Jeremy is the right set of hands.

When I went to see Jeremy about my knee injury, I could not run for more than 10 minutes. I was sure that surgery was going to be needed. But thanks to him, I am running again. He is a professional who cares greatly about his patients and works around your schedule. Thank you Jeremy.

Jeremy is a wonderful PT! He listens & knew exactly what type of therapy I needed. The exercises I do at home are simple & very effective. I love the PRI approach also. I see Jeremy for a refresher PT session when needed. It's so nice to be rid of pain & meds finally, so glad I found the best PT around. My family & doggie are especially happy. Jeremy is extremely professional, genuine and alert to the needs of his patients. I have received physical therapy in various places over the last year due to pain in my hip which nothing seemed to help. I quickly noticed the difference between Advanced Physical Therapy Specialists and other PT places in Miami. Other places keep you waiting for a half hour, only to have the therapist spend 5 minutes with you before sending you off to do exercises with a PT assistant. Jeremy actually took the time to thoroughly evaluate me, and used a “hands on approach” for the full one hour session to activity treat the problem. I am now completely pain free and I can pick up my toddler again without pain or fear of hurting myself. I am so thankful!! I highly recommend Jeremy and Advanced Physical Therapy Specialists!!!

Seeing Jeremy was the best decision I made in order to get back to working out and returning to playing sports. Being a PT student who was having shoulder issues from playing sports. I tried doing things myself to try and fixed the issue that I knew physical therapy would fix. I had multiple therapists and students look at it yet my shoulder would not get better. For those that are hesitant about physical therapy, understand that the therapist you see is VERY important. You get to see Jeremy for one on one for an hour where he gives his full attention to your issue and that is amazing. He helped me put my mind at ease by showing immediate results. I have seen many therapist in the past; I will say that Jeremy is one of the most professional and intelligent therapists I've had the pleasure to meet. You get his most honest take and that is something that I respect. Take home: if you're having problems with your body, come see Dr. Jeremy Wehking, you will not regret it.

Jeremy is an excellent PT and we probably need to find another category for the type of PT he performs. After dealing with shoulder issues for the past 2 years and meeting with Orthopedic, chiro., traditional PT, sports massage guys, he was able to find the reason for my injury and I was able to regain all my strength in my rotator cuffs and full function within a few weeks.

Jeremy is really such an amazing PT. After being in a car accident, I had a high-grade ankle sprain. I had already been in the boot for months when I first showed up at Advanced PT Specialists, and my ankle's range of motion was EXTREMELY limited. Jeremy got me to where I am now: walking normally and pain-free. He delivers a great hands-on approach and is completely invested in his patients' improvement. Jeremy makes sure that you get to where you need to be, and was more than accommodating when there were delays with geico payments and with any personal scheduling issues.Also, he makes great conversation! My visits were not at-all uncomfortable or awkward (which is saying a lot, as he was man-handling and massaging my foot for an hour each time).

I had severe TMJ and my dentist recommended physical therapy so I took his advice and found Advanced Physical therapy, I just left my last session and I can say this was wonderful I haven’t had any headaches or any TMJ symptoms through the whole experience, he’s very knowledgeable in PT & helped me out a lot! I highly recommend.

Jeremy was great. Have been to a few chiropractors to treat my sciatica and never got results and you have to rely on them. Jeremy taught me exercises thatI can do at home or wherever. Not only that he was a cool guy. Physical therapy is the way to go.

I highly recommend Jeremy Wehking as a physical therapists. After years of seeing other medical professionals, chiropractors, PT's, as well as taking prescribed medication with little to no results for a chronic sciatica and fibromyalgia, I am finally finding relieve in just a short time with Jeremy's techniques. I highly recommend Jeremy and the Advanced Physical Therapy clinic for your physical therapy needs. I am beyond satisfied with the level of expertise and personalized care that I received at this clinic. Jeremy takes his time to educate you during his hands on approach techniques and more importantly takes the time to follow up after every visit. I have never been happier with a physical therapist than I am with Jeremy! It took moving from Southern California to Miami to find him and I am so glad I did. After two major back surgeries and many other physical therapists in my past, I can easily say that Jeremy is the best around! He listens carefully and observes your entire structure to get to the root of the problems. He had me back to good health quickly and able to take long walks again. Without hesitation I would recommend him to people I know.

Jeremy is a true gem! I was advised by my dentist to choose a PT with certain certifications and training above the standard level due to a complicated case, the search narrowed down to him fairly quickly. Jeremy is excellent. I'm a physical therapist myself and specifically sought him out after seeing he was certified from the Postural Restoration Institute - a certification that only very few skilled clinicians have. He gets to the underlying causes of dysfunction rather than performing treatments that will simply act as a bandaid. I've just begun working with him and I already recommend him highly! He also was extremely diligent with his cleaning protocols and made me feel very safe and protected during my session.

Approximately 18 months ago I sprained my neck moving furniture. The pain persisted to the point where I could not turn my head. I went to physical therapy, but the first place I tried was not good. They worked on many people at one time and I was there for approximately 2 hours. After that experience I went on line and fortunately I found Jeremy. He is fantastic! A kind person, he spent time listening to my history and tailored a treatment for me that worked. Jeremy only works on one person at a time, so my hour long sessions truly met my needs. I am now pain free. I highly recommend Jeremy.

I've been to tons of PT's. Jeremy is the best by far. He is the best in South Florida and probably one of the best in the country.He is passionate about PT and actually studies you to find the cause of the problem instead of just giving cookie cutter exercises.I still have a long way to go but I am pleasantly surprised with the improvements I've made thus far.

In fall of 2021, arthritis developed in my knee, much to my dismay, first time I ever had a physical problem.. An x-ray and diagnosis, from a highly-recommended orthopedic surgeon confirmed the reason for my knee pain and restricted mobility. It seemed hopeless, given the general attitude about arthritis being viewed as an inevitable part of aging. Based on other high recommendations, I booked an appointment with Jeremy Wehking at Advanced Physical Therapy Associates. He was highly-professional, knowledgeable, asked many questions about my knee condition and history, explained what his approach would be with the physical therapy, and allowed me the opportunity to ask as many questions as I liked as well. I felt hopeful about the prospect of improvement through therapy after this first evaluation session. Five months later, I no longer have a limp, I have much-improved mobility, very little pain, more flexibility, and over-all great improvement. Throughout the months of therapy, Jeremy explained everything, answered my endless questions, gave me a series of daily home exercises to do, complete with videos sent to my phone to remind me of the correct way to do the exercises, and always texted me the day before appointments to confirm. I always looked forward to the sessions. He is organized, optimistic, energetic, and pro-active in his approach. I recommend him highly as a physical therapist

Jeremy is the best physical therapist I've had. He clearly loves what he does, and clearly cares about his patients, and how he can give them the best and most practical treatment to help them get better. He gives exactly the right amount of at-home exercises to do: enough to be helpful, but not so many that they become overwhelming, and you don't do them at all. And he gives you his full attention during your appointment time - no bouncing back and forth between you and other patient(s). I recommend him highly!

Great place to visit if you are struggling with a chronic and ongoing injury! Mr. Wehking is a great physician with a lot of experience and knowledge! I appreciated his effort and ability to think “outside of the box” in order to help and figure out the way how to correctly treat injury. He spends a lot of time to find out where the problem of the injury is. He listens and understands patient's needs. I have had a lot of issues to find a good physician, however Mr. Wehking finally helped me, even beyond my expectations!

My dentist referred me to Jeremy for my TMJ issues. I have been experience pain and wanted someone that could help get me through my day-to-day as I worked with my dentist. I am SO happy I went with Jeremy. Jeremy Wehking is an absolutely outstanding Physical Therapist. I have had neck and jaw problems and chronic pain for about 20 years. I've been to dozens of health care providers including 5 other Physical Therapists. I feel so extremely fortunate and grateful that a pain specialist sent me to Jeremy. After all these years he is the first one to successfully treat me. My pain has been cut in half and it's only been a short time. I can move much better and more easily and have so much less pain, I can enjoy my life again! Jeremy has listened carefully and created a path for healing specific to my problems. The exercises he has given me me to do are very subtle and easy to do, the results have been nothing less than remarkable, and my prognosis is good. Jeremy is always positive, upbeat and happy and that along with his gentle and kind manner make it a great experience. Thank you Jeremy!
