Unfortunately not all physical therapy is created the same. This can be said for many things and physical therapy is no exception. The majority of my patients have had previous treatment with a poor outcome. Some have tried chiropractic, massage therapy, acupuncture, and physical therapy. I have seen many patients who before coming to me have tried multiple forms of conservative treatment only to fail, return to their doctor and then go down a road of injections and sometimes even surgery. Or just decide that there is nothing they can do but put up with the pain. I’m here to tell you this: Don’t Give Up on Yourself! You owe it to yourself to feel better, and I have been fortunate enough to see many people succeed where they thought they were doomed to fail. It is amazing the type of results you can get when you start treating the causes of your problems, instead of just treating symptoms.
